When should we start worrying?

I've yet to receive any interview offers (or rejections). At what point should I start worrying and start madly and randomly applying a hundred less desirable locations? End of October? Into November? ECFMG is backlogged and most of my stuff that was sent in in the last few weeks but hasn't gotten to ERAS yet so I doubt I need to panic for some time. Still, I read all these reports of interview invitations and I sit here imaging what's going to happen if I get nothing at all.
Anyone else without interview offers? The wait is killing me.

From talking to everyone in my class, it seems there are a lot of programs that simply have not started extending invitations. I think some of them wait a little later so that they will have more applicants to choose from.
As for ECFMG, I spoke with them and they said it is taking roughly 10 business days from the time they recieve stuff to when they get it scanned. It was exactly two weeks (10 business days) from the date my school mailed my transcript until it appeared in the "post office".

I would start worrying if you don't hear anything by the end of next week. i think that based on past years, there is a lot of activity by the middle of october. don't worry for now, many programs are only now starting to give out offers of interviews.
