when should you apply to a new OD school?

There are some new schools that just opened and are going to be opening in the next couple years. I just wanted to know if anyone here was planning on applying or attending either. What was your deciding factor on applying and attending? Should one wait a couple years before applying to a new school? Im sure that they would be still working out the rough edges in their programs for at least a couple years.

The newest schools are 2-3 years out from opening up. There is almost ZERO information on those newest schools so don't expect any answers about those.

For the newest schools I applied to one as a back-up, in case I didn't get into 4 other schools. One in particular was trying pretty hard to fill its class roster last May so keep that in mind. Just evaluate where you want to put your $120k-ish in tuition. My thought is unless the school were CRAZY close to my hometown I would not go if I were accepted to a well-established program.
