When should you buy the edition of FA that you're going to stick with?

Does FA change significantly from year to year? i.e., if you're taking Step I in 2012 should you wait to buy the 2012 version, (If you haven't annotated the 2010 version) or should you study with the 2011 version? Or would it be fine to study with the 2010 version and just use that?

i always kept up to date with the latest version and re annotated in there. when it comes to summer time anyways and you start studying again hardcore for real, you'll fill up your annotations all over again.

the latest versions i know have some newer drugs in there that weren't in previous versions. i'm sure most of the anatomy, path, and phys stay the same. how bad would you feel though if you missed a question because it was a new drug and you didn't have the latest FA? lol, i couldn't handle that thought so i always got the newest ones.
