AMCAS applications, I mean. I see that it says June 27th, but what time? Also, last year they delayed it. What are the chances of that happening again? I've already googled and all I see is June 27th, with no time.

Probably end of the day? It doesn't really matter, why do you ask?

I don't think any delays will be occurring. If it did, AMCAS probably would have said something about it by now. Also, why does it matter what time of day they will transmit data?

I wanna know because I'm impatient and wanna submit secondaries :O

If they submit it earlier in the day I can set an alarm to wake up earlier and complete my secondaries. If it's later I will be stuck wondering when. That's why

Dude, chill out lol. You'll have plenty of time to write and submit secondaries regardless of what time AMCAS gets sent to schools tomorrow. As for me, I have a 9 hour commitment tomorrow, so I'm not even gonna worry about secondaries until Saturday/whenever I receive them and have a chance to look at them. Also, patience is a virtue. Enjoy the long process and good luck!

Then get up early and finish pre-writing your secondaries😕? You do realize it will likely be 2-3 weeks before many schools even start to send out secondaries?

Yeah man, most early secondaries will likely come next week or something. I don't think you'll get many (if any) tomorrow as schools have JUST gotten your info.

already finished writing them thankfully. some schools auto send though like george washington, columbia, and some other schools. Does the 2-3 weeks you mention include the process of screening?

You are worried about secondaries. If you get a secondary before Monday at the earliest, I will be shocked.

I have one school that doesn't screen and they will send within 24-48 hours. Whether AMCAS start the process of transmission at 9 am or noon or 3 pm, the difference is so remarkably small that it isn't even worth the time.

Take that from someone who is on round 4, there are so many other things to worry about that the time of transmission isn't even in the top 20.

That, administrative stuff, creating web portals for you to log into and complete the secondaries, etc. FWIW, I applied to 15 schools last cycle and I received secondaries from July through October (luckily the ones I actually cared about came in July and August). Also, I realize that some schools send them automatically however there often is a delay with those schools as well. Two of the schools I applied to last year sent automatic secondaries however they weren't sent until August (e.g., anyone who submitted AMCAS on or after that date in August received a secondary with a few days before their primary was verified by AMCAS).

Edit - As someone who personally struggles with a great deal of anxiety and some depression and has been through this process twice, I strongly suggest working on/finding (healthy) outlets for your neuroticism. This is not meant negatively in any way. Doing so will GREATLY help you come interview time (as well as others' perception of you on SDN).

Worry more about pooling the money to pay for them

Already am. This process hurts my wallet like no other 🙁.
Gunning from day 1.

less gunning and more i just wanna submit my secondary essays so i can relax for a while and find out my results and what i need to do next slowly over time. preferably with a cold ice tea on a lounge chair outside in the sun. also a massage wouldnt be half bad.

thanks for the truth. i admire your determination especially after 4 cycles and will definitely listen to your advice. im going to PM you something.

I've seen that most automatic secondaries come out on July 1st.

The only school I know of that came out before July 1 last year is Cornell

It appears Oakland and MCW are starting to send them out.

And these are all by email?
