Hey guys,

When you do get the interview acceptance letter . . . . .how long do they usually give you to schedule it? 2-3 weeks? a month?
I'm asking this like for financial reasons .
I know that if I book a flight last minute . . .its going to be expensive. Any tips to reduce travel expenses(assuming no lodging in with family/friends)? Fly Southwest?
Also how long are the interviews? 2-3 hours or is it one whole day( I know it depends upon the school . . .but a ballpark estimate would be great!)?

It varies a lot. Usually you have some choice. I scheduled some interviews 1-2 months out and another I went the week after they sent me the invite (out of choice--they gave a three week range of options).

The interviews are at least a half day, often nearly a full day.
