When to apply???

Hi everyone! This is my first post, although I have been "lurking" on this site for quite awhile.

Anyway, I have a question about when I should apply. I need to retake my third quarter of inorganic Chemistry because I got a D in it the first time. I plan to retake it over summer quarter which ends in the middle of August. I also plan to take the MCAT in the fall.

So my question is... Should I go ahead and start the process now and apply with the D on my aacomas application, or should I wait until I get my summer grades and apply then? My GPA is fairly decent right now, and the change in that grade will not make a huge difference, so that isn't really a factor.

Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Apply now, and make sure to include the class being retaken on the transcript as "in progress." Apply by the end of July at the latest. The transcripts are sent seperately to each school as part of the secondary application, so you can resend transcripts after that new grade comes out.
