Alright, so I'm taking my MCAT on June 18th. I handed in my essay and resume and LOR to my school's pre-medical committee, and I'm waiting on a response from them.

When should I submit my AMCAS? I know that the earlier the better, and that med schools will start looking at my application before I get my MCAT scores in, but I'm not entirely satisfied with my personal statement yet. And I don't really want to worry about my AMCAS until after the MCAT. How much do I lose by submitting my AMCAS in the week after I take my MCAT vs. submitting it June 2?

Thanks!

I'm kinda in the same shoes: I'll retake MCAT in mid-July.
I have the same question as the OP's.
Advice, suggestion, please!

I think most people would say that two weeks will not have much, if any, of an impact at all. If you don't submit your application until August, that'd be one thing. Mid to late June though? I don't think so. I think you would be better served to have a solid PS and submit it a couple of weeks after the AMCAS opening than submitting it prematurely just to submit it on the first day.
