Hi ALL,
i am planning to write NDBE part1 in july.is it possible to apply to the uvty's prior to getting the NDBE score and have the scores send directly when it gets out?i have heard somewhere that it is better to apply early and most uvty's start accepting applications in june.so what is the ideal time to apply for the advanced standing program?will the unvty's accept the application without the NDBE score?
any info will be helpful.
thanks

unfortunately they (the universities) won't even accept your application without the NDBE score(s), application form & fee, references (if required), TOEFL, your previous dental school diploma and academic transcript. hope this was helpful.

dentek,

every school has their own deadlines and requirements which you need to keep in track of periodically .. although the forums are a great source of information, the BEST way to do your homework is to actually keep checking with the schools you plan to apply .. it might take the schools some time to update their own webpages, so get their phone numbers and contact them if necessary .. there is no IDEAL time for applying .. i know ppl who got rejected although they applied very early..and ppl getting accepted who applied just before the deadline ..

i guess in the end, the criteria for selection is a lot more than just applying early .. dont be misled .. everything in you application matters ....

thanks
