Seriously, do it whenever you want. I would only be wary if you have a job or commitment that doesn't yet know you are planning to leave in August. In that case, I'd wait until that ends.

If you're not in that situation, do it now if you want! It's Facebook -- shamelessly promoting your triumphs in life is what it's all about.

When you are 100% sure you are going to attend the school. Would be embarrassing if you had to change it.

Your FB profile should be private to your friends and family anyway so I don't see anything wrong about posting the school you intent to matriculate at. You should do whatever you feel is right. I imagine many of your friends and family will be quite proud and happy for you.

It's a different story if you're just trying to show off in a public forum.
