I don't even know where they're listed as received! Can we not submit until they're received? I'm in the same boat.

You can submit the application before they receive the transcripts- but you don't get placed in line to be verified until they receive them all. Verification can take several weeks, so at this point it'll be at least that long until the app is sent out to schools.

Once you submit, look under "Manage my Programs" and then "Program Status". There's an arrow under each school that will say "awaiting materials" and the status of each of your transcripts, LORs, etc.

Today will be the 10th business day since my transcripts were sent (3 in total) and none have been marked as received. AMCAS received 2 late last week and the last one earlier this week. Anyone else in a similar situation? Any advice on when I should contact AACOMAS to follow up?

I'm now on my 3rd attempt of sending my transcripts. The best advice I can give is to call and ask if they received them after 10 business days, if they haven't then don't wait ANY more time to resend them.

The best is when you call, they tell you they've received them, and then you call again 3 days later and they tell you they lost them.

Mine took a looooong time. Like 3 weeks or so from registrar to AACOMAS for me to get an email that they were received. And I'm still waiting on one. So patience is the name of the game, I never called AACOMAS, I just got receipts from schools where the transcripts were sent and waited. They eventually got there. It way have even been a month by now....

Yea your story is ridiculous...I can't believe that keeps happening. Have you tried USPS express mailing them?? So they have to sign for them? I know it's more money but at least you'll have a receipt if they lose them for reimbursement...

They finally just received my first transcript, just as I was about to have it re-sent via Fedex overnight 🙂

11 business days until they received/processed the first, hoping the next 2 arrive by the end of the week, they were all sent on the same day. Also hoping the one they received doesn't magically disappear...

I don't know if they process fedex vs usps but if they say they honor it you go on git your money

Sorry to slightly hijack this thread, but do we not need the transcript verification form anymore?

They do accept USPS or Fedex for sending transcripts, I spoke with AACOMAS yesterday. However, the address you need to send them to is different. You also have to make sure they are delivered during business hours (9-5 EST) as they will need to be signed for. The transcripts still need to come directly from your schools registrar office so you have to figure out the logistics with each school. The address for direct delivery is:

AACOMAS
Care of: Liaison International
311 Arsenal Street
Suite 15
Watertown, MA 02472

Wait, I sent it to...
AACOMAS CAS Transcript Processing Center
P.O. Box:9137
Watertown, MA 02471
(the address on the Transcript Request Form)

I see that is different from the address above. Did I send it to the wrong place?

No. That is the correct address if you are sending them via regular mail, and they don't need to be signed for. The address I posted previously is the address to use if you want to overnight or express mail them there and request a signature for confirmation of receipt.

Ah okay thank you so much! Do I call them to know if they received them?

I sent my transcripts back in May, had 2 marked as received 2weeks later and they lost the 3rd one. I had to resend the 3rd one via Fedex express and have it signed for in order to get AACOMAS to acknowledge it. A week after my school's transcript system said it was signed for, AACOMAS finally marked it as received.

AMCAS had all my transcripts marked as received within a week or two of sending. They are wayyyy more organized.

One another note, I did submit my AACOMAS application before the 3rd transcript was received. Now just waiting to be verified....
