Test coming up in 3 months. I have 2 months designated study time. I've been doing Kaplan QBank and am 25% done with it. Should I start UWorld now or wait until the 2 month designated period?

If I were you, I would complete Kaplan Qbank asap so I can start up on UWorld already. The earlier, the better. It is known to be the best question bank for the exam, and you def want to make sure you complete it thoroughly.

Would it make sense to start Uworld during the summer after MSI? Or is there too much content related to MSII year that would make it not worthwhile?

yes, go for it. you really have nothing to lose except a few hundred bucks.

Personally, I don't think it would be a waste. BUT I would buy a different question bank such as USMLERx during that summer. It would be a good way to help you memorize the details in First Aid. This way, you will be more prepared and will have a better understanding of the material by the time UWorld comes along.

Oh, and USMLERx is a little cheaper as well.

If uworld were a book, I think it'd be great to jump on it early. But since it isn't, the likelihood of you retaining that information after only your first year is pretty slim. Try to get your hands on a qbank book, that way you can review it over a year later without having to pay for a subscription again.
