When to register for mcat?

Hi, I know this is really in advanced but I want to take the mcat sometime in July 2019 (next year). Someone told me that you have to register super early for the mcat so how early should I and can I register for next July? I looked up on the aamc website and the earliest dates they have are for September so I'm not sure how early I'm able to register for it. Also, I live in Brooklyn NY so test centers might get full quickly. TIA!

According to the AAMC_MCAT twitter account, registration for MCAT dates in July 2018 - September 2018 began on February, 7, 2018. Registration for MCAT dates in January 2018 - June 2018 began October, 18, 2017.

So if it's the same for next year, I would start checking in October 2018 or February 2019?

Edit: Just looked up past AAMC tweets, the registration for the 2017 MCAT opened around the same time, plus or minus a few days.

Yes. Check to see, or call, to see when it opens up. I signed up immediately and as a result, took it 5 minutes down the road. Three months of prep.
