I just started 2nd year. We are currently doing Pathogenesis, next will be Pharmacology, Microbiology and then all the Organ systems.

I got all the qbanks USMLERX and Uworld but don't know when to use these qbanks? Should I do them when I start the organ systems?

I have classmates doing Qbank since day 1 of 2nd year, some even started summer of M1.

EDIT:- Realized I might have posted in the wrong forum.

They're behind. All the 250+ rockstars started doing them during M1 orientation.

you bought a one-year subscription without the intention of using it for one full year?

I was told by two students who each got >260 on the step to watch pathoma this summer (before M2) without taking notes, just to get an exposure to the material. Then try UWorld questions periodically during the first semester. I was also told that I should reset UWorld in the Spring and retry all the questions to make sure that I get an accurate assessment of what I need to focus on. Is this how you M3s did it?

No

You will get better responses posting this kind of stuff in the step 1 forum.

You should start using most of your qbanks after you have gone through some of the material. I got Kaplan and UWorld. I used a bit of Kaplan earlier on in the year when I was studying for block exams but honestly it wasn't that helpful. I started studying for Step 1 about six months out but really ratcheted it up about 3 months out and used only UWorld, Pathoma, and FA and scored 252. So in short, I would say you don't need to start using qbanks until much later in the year. What I would recommend doing is working really hard in your courses and using Pathoma throughout the year.

Do not study during that summer. If you want to do something potentially helpful for your future, do research. Or just relax.

+1 Wait on those Qbanks until 3 months out. Now is the time to do research if you want to gun. Conversely, you don't want to be doing research around step 1.

I used it sparingly during the year...that means when I thought about it. I learned the material in second year as it came and used review books mostly to do that. Then after that, I used Uworld and had a system to get through all the material that was covered in the M1 and M2 years in about 5 weeks or so. Try to get through the Qbank about 2 times before you take step 1. I did that in the summer...made a 258.

I think picking one QBank (Probably Rx as UWorld is money for Step 1) to use throughout the year. That means if you're doing cards, you do the cards questions when you're studying for the exam. Your exams will likely be in significantly more detail than a Qbank goes into, but it'll cover basic principles.

Is it helpful to do Kaplan and usmle rx along with first year classes? Or do qbanks require second year knowledge such as pathology understanding? Where can one find questions for first year content?

The Qbanks are very path heavy. The majority is 2nd year material.

This. While there might be some benefit of doing biochem only questions or whatever during 1st year, I honestly can't imagine that the benefit of those extra minimal questions (which will likely still have info that is over your head) is worth the cost or headache of a full-year QBank prescription.

Perhaps a better idea is to do review books with classes first year?

You started M2? I feel sorry for you. We still have a month of vacation left.
