Im sure this is all over this forum but i couldn't really find anything. When did you guys start studying for step 1? When did you start and then when did you kick it into high gear?

since I drive a Bimmer, I stated when I felt I can get to the finish line without running out of gas. I kicked it into high gear right before I got to the sharp slope, which usually happends as you get closer to the finish line. By the way, have you had the chance in med school to discover what you drive? that can help, it seems we all have different engines!

Started very slowly in January. Mild increase in pace in April.

Went hardcore 12 days before the test.
