When is the best time to take COMLEX Step 2 CE?

I am currently finishing up third year. I am taking the COMLEX Step 2 PE in July. With Sub-I's in the summer and fall, I was looking to take the COMLEX Step 2 CE in November when I will have more time to study.

When is the best time to take COMLEX Step 2 CE?

I am currently finishing up third year. I am taking the COMLEX Step 2 PE in July. With Sub-I's in the summer and fall, I was looking to take the COMLEX Step 2 CE in November when I will have more time to study.

The Step 2 is much like Step 1 in the sense that most of the Qs missed will be not d/t lack of knowledge but rather d/t vagueness/crappiness of the Qs.
Keeping that in mind, and also not wanting to put your graduation in jeopardy, I would take it ASAP. There is nothing you learn in 4th year that will help you, and you get all your tests out of the way.
