When to take DAT

Hello all!

Just had a quick question. Thinking of applying for dental schools at the end of my senior year however I am planning on taking the DAT the summer (between my junior and senior year). Is there any drawbacks to taking it right now vs later? Also keep in mind that I might be doing a master/postbacc instead of applying to dental school my senior year. I'm worried that my DAT scores would expire by the time I finish my postbacc if I take the DAT during this summer.

they will not. if you plan applying next year you can take DAT this summer. i am doing the same

I think DAT scores are valid for 3 years? You would have to check on that though.
