when to take OAT?

For those applying for 2008 cycle, when is everybody planning to take OAT? I’m taking the Kaplan course right now and was thinking to take it sometime in March. But now I really don’t know what to do, maybe its better to take it in august that way I can study all summer. For those who have not began to study, I found it helpful to start with sections I know best that way you’re not as anxious about the test and than move on to sections that give you more trouble.

I'm hoping to matriculate in 2008 as well, and I'm taking the OAT in May. I feel like it's a great idea to take it early b/c you have to wait 90 days to retake it if you didn't do as well as you wanted to, plus I just want to get it out of the way! Besides ochemII (which is seriously the worst class I've ever taken), I have an easy semester this spring, so after spring break I'm breaking out my study materials 🙂

I'm also getting ready for 2008. I'm going to take it in May too. That'll give me 90 days during the summer to study some more if I have to take it again. That way I can retake in August (if I need too) which will be in time for applications.
