I am taking O Chem and Physics this year, but I need to take OAT before March 1 in order to apply for Fall 2008. Is it possible to do good on the OAT if I have not even finished OChem and Physicis sequence? Any Advice? Can I used MCAT prep materials to study for the OAT?

When to take OAT??

I would at least finish the first semester. There are questions from both semesters though, especially in physics. The second half of ochem isn't on the test all that much, but there is a little. Physics pretty much comes from both semesters. You could maybe get away with just taking the first semester of both before you take the test, but you will be at a disadvantage. I wouldn't take it any earlier than that.

I used DAT materials to study for the OAT, but had to supplement by rereading a lot of my physics book. Does the MCAT have phyics? I don't know for sure.
