When to take preview exam ?

Hi everyone! I am applying for the 2025 cycle. I really need some advice on when to take the preview. I will be abroad for the first last two weeks of June and there is a preview test date June 20th.

Ideally, this means I would take the preview exam July 24th of this year but I saw online the scores wont release till August 22nd. Two of my schools require this exam. If I submit my secondaries 2-3 weeks into July but can't submit this score till august will this hurt my chances of ever getting any interview/significantly hurt my chances?

Or should I try to take the test abroad? I'm a little worried it might affect my performance because it's a different testing environment. That being said is it common for kids to retake this test?

Take it in July.
Are you absolutely sure that schools you are applying to require this test?

HPSA today released the results of the 2023 SJT Survey, detailing medical school applicants' performances on situational judgment assessments.

Most will take PREview in the comfort of their home where there are stable internet connections and appropriate time zone alignment with the human proctors. I would discourage you to take the exam outside the US.

AAMC this year allows applicants to retake the test once in an application cycle and four times lifetime including voids.

Also be aware, many schools that may not require PREview could require you to take a recorded video interview. You CAN do RVIs overseas provided the cloud recording is smooth. Many business schools that use Kira Talent like the asynchronous video interviews as they can get applicants from India and China to do the preliminary interview on the KT platform.
