I'm currently doing a research fellowship and applying for Derm in fall of 2010. Any advice as to the best time to take Step 3? Received 227 on step 1 and 230 on step 2. Don't know if a great score on step 3 will help me be more competitive (didn't match one time) or if it doesn't matter as much/could potentially hurt. I've already finished my intern year this past June. Thanks for any advice.
