When to take the DAT???

Hello all,

First, good luck to all taking the DAT today.....

I have trimester in my school and really busy with classes and application.
I was planning to take the DAT around first week of october......
I have a summer break till sept 25th once i finish my final on sept 9th
I am also taking first two weeks off of my fall quarter...
also, some schools have deadline of Dec 1st. Does that mean that they must have everything before taht time including the final DAT score or they can hold on to DAT if you have submitted once before that time and will be retaking DAT in January?

anybody have any suggestions?????

The deadline is pretty much worthless. If you dont get all of your stuff in within the next month then the chances of being accepted go down tremendously. The DAT is not something I would rush into just to apply this cycle because you might end up doing poorly. If you do think you can get it done I would get all of my AADSAS stuff in immediately because it takes them about a month or two to get everything mailed. Then study really hard and take the DAT late september early october at the latest. But dont do this if you really dont think you can adequately study for the DAT because applying through AADSAS is really expensive. A lot of schools begin filling their classes up on Dec. 1 and a lot end by the end of january if not in december. Good luck to you.
