When will AAMC submit primary applications to schools this year in June? Will they submit them in mid-June? And is AAMC's next earliest submission date gonna be in early-July?

I've heard June 17th. Doesn't really seem like something any company would want to do on a Friday. Mid-June though.

Awesome, thanks. And do you by any chance know when the second submission is gonna take place?

I've never seen this question before. Oh wait, it's on SDN's FAQ (here http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=823760) and it's on the AMCAS page (here https://www.aamc.org/students/applying/amcas/)

Uh what are you talking about?

Holy ****, somebody's having his period today. I meant after the 6/17 initial submission date, when will AAMC send out data to medical schools again?

Every business day until the primary closes.

ETA: Nice edit. You're the one starting a new thread (a thread for these questions already exits. conveniently, it's called "Official AMCAS Questions Thread) to ask a dumb question about something that is readily available FROM THE SOURCE (AMCAS) and on the forum you're reading.

Point me to that readily available link where it tells the data gets sent to medical schools every business day. I was initially wondering why you were so cranky. Well, your ****** ass stat explains everything.

OK NOOB here...so we hope to submit, verified, everything ready before 6/17 when AMCAS will send info right...???

Whoa dude... grow up.

After transmissions begin to go out on 6/17 they continue to send them out as they get verified for the duration of the season.

AMCAS does not transmit applications in batches.

To be fair, I will ask you to point to that readily available link where it tells the data gets sent to medical schools in batches.

As the OP won't accept any statements not backed up with evidence, here's my irrefutable statement: going back through my email, I received notice of completion of processing and started to receive invitations to complete secondaries (besides two non-screening schools) that same day. Now, others can share their own experiences and then the OP can decide for himself/herself how applications are transmitted after June 17.

****** ass is quite original, especially for someone who is helping you.

Looks like Ezio made a new account...

It's up to you how early you want to be. If you want to have medical schools receive your application June 17, then you need to submit in the next 2 or 3 days. See last year's verification thread for a better idea http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=734116&page=5
Everyone has a different idea of just how early you need to be in order to be considered an "early" applicant and thus give yourself the best possible chance

The whole "batches" concept is more applicable to the actual review by an admissions committee member. However, LizzyM has stated previously that an applicant who submits later on but has great stats will be bumped to the top of the "review" queue at her school. Unfortunately, it's impossible to know exactly how each school does it, so it's best just to be as early as you can be.
