Yeah but I had my heart set on Stanford. My "safety" is Duke. I haven't heard from either of them. If push comes to shove I will probably end up going for Meharry. I was really impressed by their facilities. I really would like to help to put their program on the map. Meharry is definitely a gem in the rough.

Well, I was rejected by my 'safety' schools (NY SUNY's) but accepted by an out of state private and interviewed at a really awesome (other) state school as well as some other privates. You just never know how it will go. I am just grateful for my acceptance ...

Well, I've gotten in at Stanford, UCSF, Harvard, Mayo, and Columbia, but those are my safety schools. I don't consider myself accepted until I get that acceptance letter from Saint James.

Ha ha, Duke is my "safety" also. "Safe" to say they don't want me. It's quite a relief to know that in case I don't receive any more rejections, I'll at least have theirs.

Good choice in Meharry, it's a far better school than the kids on this website give it credit for. One question though. If Duke is your "safety" school, what are Georgetown and Meharry?
