Do you find it useful to study by chief complaint instead of studying certain diseases and topics. I think this is a stronger way to formulate a directed hx/PE and treatment algorithm vs. random reading.

Ohio ACEP or NEMBR make excellent board review series on DVD. AS for studying, intern year was great for learning by chief complaint - read the same topics over and over again until they stick. There are about 20-30 basic presentations that you should know cold, forwards and backwards. After that, read Rosen's or Tintinalli's cover to cover to pick up everything else...
