I know aadsas' first mailing was June 1st, does anyone know when their next one is? or is it rolling processing from here on in? thanks.

Were apps actually sent out June 1? How is that so if it takes 4-8 weeks to process your AADSAS GPA and the application came out May 15 (only 2 weeks!)

I think the deal is that applications that were in by the 1st get sent out in the first mailing.

Here's the deal with mailings (at least this is how it went last year...with AADSAS who knows how it'll go this time around)...most people who submitted on June 1 got their apps sent out in the first mailing at the end of June/beginning of July. It doesn't really matter though, because noone is going to interview before september...just get the app in now if you haven't already and don't worry about the mailings.

I think the actual deal, according to the AADSAS website, is that they will send your application to the schools AFTER they have verified your transcripts (about 6 weeks processing). They will probably, as they have last year, notify the schools such that they have access to your file online, but actual applications probably won't be sent until transcript verification and receipt of your LORs.

Oh, if the application wasn't out before May 15th, and transcript processing/verification takes approximately 6 weeks, then first mailings should occur by the end of June, early July. I could be wrong 😛

The first mailings is sometimes next week (I called AADSAS a few days ago). I submitted my completed application with LOR and transcript May 24th and she said that i'll probably be in the first mailing. That being said, getting it in before June 1 doesn't guarantee your spot in the first mailing.

It could matter if you have a good reason to have the earliest interviews possible (For example, i'll be studying abroad in October, and i want to snag some of those interviews offered before then - I know case offers one then)

I understand that. But there are so many people on this site that are terrified that they won't make the first mailing...for what reason? I don't know!

As other has said this, it takes AADSAS MINIMUM 6-8 weeks from the date your file is COMPLETE with them to forward your application to schools. In the meanwhile you need to make sure they don't misplace stuff (the only thing they are capable of doing).
Last year the first batch went out early July which was 7-8 weeks after the applications first became available. The second batch is roughly 2-3 weeks after. Best of luck to all.

I submitted my application early (in May) but didn't send my transcripts since it didn't include all of my marks. Actually I requested one to be sent today. 🙁
They received everything except my transcripts.
Probably that means my application won't be included in the first mailing, right?

AADSAS won't mail your app out to dental schools until they verify your coursework using the transcript. However, even though ppl here say that they take forever to verify the transcript, mine was verified within 2 weeks of them receiving my transcript. So even if your app doesn't get sent out the 1st time, you'll most likely make the second mailing, and I don't think there's much diff. between 1st and 2nd mailings. It's still all about the GPA and DAT score.

every single school i have talked to in the past 3 days have NOT received any applications so I dont think any mailing went out
