Where can I find MATCH DAY data to help me figure out what programs to apply to?

Hi everyone, All I am looking for is a place where I can find out how difficult it is to get into a particular residency program. I would like to know what the average STEP-1 score is and the percent of applicants who get into the program but I can't seem to find that information anywhere. On the NRMP web site, they give you very general information about how many positions were available and were filled for every program, but nothing about how many people applied and were rejected and nothing about test scores. Is there anywhere where I can find this information? If not, how does anyone know where they are a "fit" when applying to residency programs? Thanks in advance!

I think you'll find that applying is a lot more about whether or not you feel like you can work with people in the program and vice versa than Step scores, once interviews have gone out. Some programs will offer their average Step scores, applicant data, etc., but most don't. When applying, just use common sense. If you're on the low end of scores for your selected specialty, you should apply broadly and should probably leave off the Harvards and Stanford of the world unless you have the cash to burn and want to give it a shot. (After all, you definitely won't get an interview if you don't apply.)

FREIDA is your best bet. It lists the number of interviews conducted for first year positions for each program and USMLE Step 1/Step 2 requirements for interview consideration. The latter is a new FREIDA feature I believe, so it's currently unreliable and many are left blank. But the former can help you gauge just how many competitors you're facing.
