Where can I find school-specific post-interview acceptance data? MSAR only has # of matriculants?

I saw a spreadsheet that has it but the numbers don’t agree with the MSAR for number of interviews and matriculants. Apparently the data was from US News? I can’t seem to find the source.

Or is this on the MSAR and I’m missing something?

I’m trying to find the odds of acceptance for OOS applicants but MSAR only has odds of matriculating which is much lower given people who withdraw acceptances

The MSAR doesn’t have that info but I think I did hear US News paid subscription has that data for some (most? many?) schools, but someone should verify/confirm

US News data is from one year behind the MSAR data, hence minor differences in numbers applied/interviewed. US News is the only source I know of for acceptance rates, MSAR shows only matriculation rate.

In general, places have 30-60% yields, so you can just do 2x-3x the number of seats to guesstimate the number of admits. There are occasional public schools with much higher yields though since they usually aren't fighting other schools for their matriculants. For example, University of Washington is around 80%. So if you're trying to estimate for your state school, probably do more like 1.25-1.5x the seats.

Some schools will give you the data during interview day. All the schools I interviewed at did (n=3). I believe other applicants asked for the data in 2/3 of them though.
