Where can I get DAT prep books?

HI- I am Pre-dent
and I am planning to take DAT in January.

I have been studying for BIO, CHEM, OCHEM
but I feel like it is time for me to actually buy DAT prep books and do some practice problems.

so here is my question
1)Which Website should I go to buy DAT? eBay? B&N? Amazone?

2) For PAT, what is good source of practice? I heard there is a computer program but where can I get it?

3) Destroy DAT - is it worth buying this book?

4) Kaplan - My knowledge said I don't need to take Kaplan class to do well in DAT but some people disagreed on that in my school. Is it really beneficial to take Kaplan classes?

In short, I would recommend: Cliffs AP Biology, DAT Destroyer Basic, Destroyer Math, (orgoman .com), Chad's Videos (course saver .com), DATqvault (.com), Topscore, 3TQuest's Achiever, Crack DAT Reading and PAT, Khan Academy (free youtube video source) for unclear concepts.

Check out my breakdown for a better summary. There are virtually endless DAT materials out there, but I highly suggest using at least a few different ones to broaden your knowledge. Breakdown link below.

Just took the DAT on 11/9 and it was so much easier than all of the prep I did.. I used the kaplan books to study / get my knowledge and supplemented only with an organic chemistry book. I got the crack the DAT full edition and it was great for all sections besides the science. I took a total of like 5 full length practices and never got above like 18 on any of the science, it was really hard and really defeating.. i wouldnt recomend buying that section but for the PAT crack the dat is what you want.. I found it was slightly harder than the actual DAT but overall comparable (other than those angles I hate the angles!!!!). I also got the destroyer like halfway through my studying bc i felt like i was taking crazy pills and all my work on the science section wasn't paying off.. Did the whole destroyer and it was awesome and a fun way of studying would really recommend that book.. Suprised myself on test. w/ PAT: 27, QR 22, BIO 22, GC 23, OC 25. I also made an outline for the biology section on word that I would be willing to sell along with my books + other fun random notes for chemistry and ochem, let me know if you want them! Good luck and dont look into your practice scores too much, the real test is a whole different animal.
