Hi All,
Two years ago I graduated from Fordham's college of business with a 3.31 GPA and a BS in business administration. I made the dean's list my senior year and my grades show solid progression. After some disappointing job experiences I have decided I would like to pursue a career in medicine. I have taken none of the required pre-med science courses and am considering applying to post bacc programs at Hofstra, NYU, Stonybrook, and Columbia.
I also don't have many relative extra curriculars apart from a summer assisting physical therapists and competing on Fordham's DI Cross-Country, indoor, and outdoor track teams.
Just wondering if any of you can provide any thoughts and insight to put myself in as best a position as possible for med school. Also, do you believe I would be in good standing for acceptance into these postbacc programs?
Thanks!
