So "off-topic" isn't permitted here? Or is there an "off-topic" category which i haven't found yet? There should be such a category.

When I saw so much stuff on hot med students, etc, i assumed off-topic stuff was permitted. (yea yea you can push it to say that's related but come on...). 🙄

Also sometimes when i click on stuff, it says i don't have access to that thread..some of them are ones you guys put the link to in another post. Any particular reason why?

Do people ever get banned from here or is everyone nice and polite all the time? (sorry i've been to some other really bad boards) 😡

Give it a week or so and you should have access to the Lounge & Everyone forums. You have to be a member for a week & have a certain # of posts to have access. You're fine on the # of posts. When you've been here long enough, an all-access pass will appear under your avatar.

To the appropriate form, designated by the moderator that moves it. Just click on one of the moved threads and look at the forum that you are in afterwards.

They're the non-medical forums here. We recently made them semi-restricted (as I said: 7 days membership & something like 10 posts to get access) so that we could loosen up a bit on the moderation there. Go check them out when you have the all-access pass. 🙂

Sorry that your thread got moved there. We try to keep just med-school related threads here.

Well i did look for an off-topic thread but couldn't find it....

But 65 posts in 5 days? Surely that's got to count for something...and i even took yesterday off and today i had 5 hours of classes in addition to some other work...so i'm *really* trying, and that was without even knowing there was a quota.

Ugh I've seen those forums on other discussion boards. 😛 No wonder i thought everyone was so nice and civil here (although someone did tell me i had a personality flaw and needed help 😱 )...there is another place to act out. 😉
