Hey,
where are you guys applying - roughly how many schools? and what are your top chioces and why?

i'm in ny, i would love to go to: Columbia, Buffalo, Stony Brook -- obviously
i'm applying in boston: tufts, harvard (for the hell of it), b.u.

u of chicago...
how competitive are the cali schools?
i ordered a big book from ADEA, i'll let you guys know if it's useful.

applied to four schools: UOP, UCSF, UCLA, HSDM.

top choices right now: UOP and UCSF. they're both awesome. UOP has a great humanistic atmosphere, and prepares their students well clinically (and with a good business sense) for private practice. UCSF has a lot of opportunities for research, specializing, and has an overall better curriculum in my book.

where am i going? i have yet to decide.

This would probably be better off in the predental forum.

Cali schools, just so you know, are very competitive...as are almost all dental schools throughout the country. But if that is where you want to go, you just bring out the best in yourself, apply and hope it is enough.
