Nice! Try getting 19(of course higher is better) across the board for the DAT and you're pretty much set. I suggest NOVA and USC in addition to your list. With a GPA of 3.8, you'll get a lot of interviews unless you bomb the DAT. Which I don't think you will. Best of luck!
Tax records are private. They won't be pulling those unless someone knows something I don't about signing away all rights to privacy... Unless you are running for president you aren't likely to have a problem with someone pulling your tax records without you sharing it with them.

Did I miss something in this thread? Why did you bring up tax records?
To the OP, you may either reconsider applying to Howard or add Meharry, depending on your race. Both schools accept mostly African-Americans. I personally wouldn't apply to either if you're not, or I would apply to both if you are. A lot of people apply to those schools as "back-ups" without realizing this.

Great post. Glad someone is being honest in this topic. Tax recrods are indeed private, and dental schools will not have the right to pull it. There are times where people can get a warrent. Good luck OP.

GPA and SGPA is 3.8, DAT coming soon lol
I really think with these stats, although I don't know your major, your work/volunteer/shadowing experience, and other credentials, I really do think if its average to above average, and you do really well on the DAT, you should be adding top teir schools to your list, IE harvard, upenn. 3.8 and 20-22s with decent extracurriculars and you have a decent chance of getting into one, if not both, of those schools. By decent I'd say 50/50.
Hey I'm from N.C. and I know UConn and Tennessee each accept about 20 out of state residents each year (based on the past 3 years). I am applying to these schools and they are fairly close to home...hope this helps
There's been lots of good advice given to you. It's really up to you where you want to apply and go to school. Go to predents and figure it out for yourself, it's your money. If you really want, you could check out the ADEA book, that's what helped me the most when choosing schools I wanted to apply to.
