Hi there folks, long time lurker, first time poster. I looked through the school specific discussions for previous years, and found threads that supposedly had secondary applications but browsed through many of them and did not find the actual secondaries.

Am I missing something? Is there a way for me to see secondary applications from previous years so I can get started on them early this cycle?

Thanks guys and gals and good luck to everyone

If they're not listed in the first post, they're usually somewhere on the first page of replies.

You aren't sent secondaries from the school until after your AMCAS is verified. For the most part, they are essay questions (with some parts where you may fill in pre-req classes, etc. - not always though).

So what you really need are the essay prompts, which are usually found in the first few posts (if not the first) of each school-specific thread.

Also, as a PSA, there are a couple schools that have their secondary app publicly available on the school's website. Do not submit those secondaries unless you have been invited to do so. People have done that in the past, and it is an auto-rejection.

Pre-writing the essays for secondaries is fine, just so you can copy/paste the essays when you are actually invited to do so.

Here's a link to an alphabetical list from last year... as others have said, sometimes the prompt isn't actually right on top like it should be, usually this means one of two things: it's buried somewhere else in the first page or two, or there aren't any essay questions for that school. Good luck!
