Fellow postbaccers who are applying this round, where are you going to write about the masters you did. The only option seems to be in the personal statement. Even in the personal statement I feel that it should be a small bullet maybe a few words. Because it doesnt explain why I should be a doctor only that I may have the ability to succeed if I were to be excepted.

So my problem is that I have a very low uGPA👎 and it certainly doesnt indicate that I could ever be able to survive medical school. However my masters does👍 and I feel that I need to really explain this program in about 2 pages in order to demonstrate to anyone that I could succeed in medical school. I mean there was a Shelf exam, medical school classes, simulations, all need mentioned.

How are you guys talking this issue?

You could add 2 lines in the PS, and list it as one of your most significant ACTIVITIES. So keep the PS short and sweet, and list those points about your MS in your extra space for activites....

Transcripts and LORs do all the talking for you.

You should have a letter from the SMP program director that explains the program and how well you did in it. That's your killer LOR.

I agree that a sentence or two in the PS makes sense. But a traditional course of study isn't an activity - it's coursework, which is heavily emphasized without help.

Best of luck to you.

Thank you thats what I was thinking that it cant really be listed in the activities. Ok I guess I will be relying on my course directors letter and a few sentences in the personal statement.
