For those of you who will attend the Golden Gate Dental, have you guys decided on your housing option yet?

I kind of like the campus housing, but they're all 1 or 2 mile from the campus, and uphill walk. I want to look for something near to the door of the school, so I don't have to take shuttle or anything like that.

I also plan to stay in the library until they kick me out every night, so, living far is not an option. Also, I heard that D1 tend to have to stay late for lots of lab work. I'm kind of hestitate to turn in the campus housing form.

I've been so lazy to look for housing. And I know that I have to move in just a few months. This kind of freak me out.

Opinion? Input?

Talking about the view of golden gate from the library, can any school beat that?

Hi tink,
my friend who's a D1 right now lives on Iriving and 10th. she says its only a few min away from campus..and she stays in the library a lot. she usually walks home with her friends late at nite, or she talks the muni/shuttle.

how much more are those off-campus housing compared to on-campus?

Looking for a roommate at the Sunset Towers, on 6th and Locksley 😎

Hey Tink,
Could you tell me what the campus housing is like? I just applied as a single student but I haven't had a chance to see it yet. I'd like to know if I got in, would it be just like a single college dorm room and shared bathroom (that would suck royally) or do I get a living room, shower, and kitchen too. I'm just praying for a little breathing room. 🙂

Loudy,

the student housing at Turk and arguello from what I hear is just like regular apartment. With kitchen, living room, separate bath for each bedroom. I haven't even visited the place yet. The housing that I lived last summer was more than royalty. But it's no longer available for us. Just ask for the one that has it's own bathroom. I can't imagine wake up in the middle of the night and go to a share bathroom (my friend did this at Harvard dorm and she told me it stinks all the way up to heaven). I'm thinking of just find somewhere right at the door of the campus (within 2 blocks is my radius now) because I can't drive before tests. (just too much anxiety). I'd rather eat less so I can have my own bathroom and not driving or walking more than 4 blocks to school.
Good luck, and lemme know if u need any help.
