does anyone know of any good short term housing that's decent in price and safe around New York Methodist Hospital? I know of Craigslist, but any other suggestions or resources?

NYM is in Park Slope, one of the best places to be in Brooklyn, safe and lots of apartments around. Craigslist is the best source, do a search by Park Slope. It's not a cheap area though so if you want to save money, you can look for an apartment on the F train line south of Park Slope. Apartments around Ditmas/McDonald avenue should cost less and you'll still have like a 15-20 minute commute if you stay close to the F train. It a little less safe and fun as park slope though.
