Does anyone know the best place to stay when attending an interview at AZCOM or NSUCOM? Are there hotels close by or are there opportunities to shack up with a current student? My interview is on October 13th for AZCOM and October 17th for NSUCOM and I am trying to make the best plans. Any help would be appreciated.

You can call the number to accept your interview at AZCOM and ask to stay with a student, and they will give you the numbers of a few people who volunteered. I have a place to stay right near campus. They are really helpful...

You can stay at the Best Western at Rolling Hills in Florida, it's about half a mile from campus.

The Rolling Hills Best Western is really nice in Ft. Lauderdale. You can see NSUCOM from the window; it's that close. It's very decently priced too.

When I interviewed at AZ, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, which was also very nice. It was clean, in a very safe area (located right in the mall), had a ton of restauarants w/in walking distance, and it was also decently priced.

Good luck at your interviews! I'm sure you'll love both schools. 🙂

A nice little side note on Rolling Hills..... It is the golfcourse where they filmed the movie Caddy Shack. If you have a travel agent in the family you can get a $49.99 travel agent rate.

i live right across the street from NSUCOM, and i have enough room if you need to spend the night somewhere and are strapped for cash. email me at [email protected] if you are interested.... (this goes for anyone else with an upcoming interview at NSUCOM)

What's the best way to get to our hotel from the airport? Do most people just get a rental car, or is a cab cheaper? My interview's on Oct 15th, I'll be getting in on the 14th......

I think there is a shuttle that was pretty cheap that took me from the airport to the hotel. Then the next morning a car came and picked me up and took me to the school (and then back to the hotel at the end of the day). It was pretty cheap.

If you call the school, you could also stay with a student on campus (if you didn't want to spend the money for a hotel room). Good luck with your interview!
