Hi, I'm an IMG and kind of new to all this ERAS system...
I understood that my transcripts and the MSPE should cover all the clinical rotations I have done during my studies.
But in addition to those I have done 1 month rotation in the US, I did this on my free time and so it is not mentioned in my papers, for my application it's important to mention that I had usce, any idea where I should write it?

That could reasonable be considered a "Work Experience" in the experiences section per the ERAS manual.

OP, did you get a LOR from an attending from your 1 month USCE? If so, that should ensure that your USCE won't be overlooked.

yes I got an LOR, but still some programs has USCE as a requirement, and in order to make the initial cut I wanted to show it in my Application...

If your LOR is already in, and will already be in ERAS when you submit, then it will be part of the materials that a program reviews when deciding whether you make the "initial cut."

However, if you do want to make doubly sure that it is not missed, then Work Experiences is probably the most appropriate place to list it.

The other thing you can do is work it into your personal statement in a small way (as long as it fits with the flow of your PS); eg, "When I did my observership in Specialty X at Hospital Y, I learned blah blah blah about practicing X in the US medical system..." or some such mention. I wouldn't do this gratuitously, but if it fits in naturally with talking about why you chose your specialty, or what you are looking for in a residency program, then I think that could be a good place to mention it.

putting it in the PS is not a bad idea.
Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it!
