Where you get your undergraduate matters?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
It matters, but not as much as some people would like...

It matters for the very top school, but as drizzt said, not as much as people would like. You may get slightly more leeway with your GPA if you come from schools known to have very harsh curves (e.g, UPENN) but 3.7 from state U is still better than 3.2 from an ivy.

Do well at your institution and it really shouldn't have much of an effect on the admissions process.

haha, thanks for the reply 😳
I dug myself into a trench so I'll have to pick up my game 👍
Thanks,😀
