I heard from TPR that AAMC FL test 7 and 8 are harder than the real MCAT... I took the AAMC FL 8 and 9 and made the same score but my verbal score was lower in test 9 and my PS score was higher in FL test 9...which AAMC FL test is the best to take

8/9 are harder than 3-7, although probably on par with the real thing.

take all of them if you can, but if you're limited with $ take 8-10 most importantly.

7-10 are the best, as they are most closely related to the current format of the test. No one AAMC is considered the best, because no one can accurately predict what will be on the actual test. Even 3-6 are great practice. I would disagree with the TPR guys that 7 and 8 are harder than the real thing. Most people find the actual mcat was tougher than all the AAMCs (not significantly, but slightly.) However, most people find that they are scoring around their average +/- 1, so the scale will work itself out. The best play from here on out is to take plenty of CBT's from now until test day, and learn from them. I'm in the same boat, good luck.

Thanks guys..I was just getting fustrated 😕 with my scores and needed to know if it was me or the test... I have read the Examcrakers Bio and VR book, and every TPR book from front to back and still getting low scores... I think I need to practice more.

I have a question...I am taking the MCAT Jan 29, I know I need a lot of practice so I have been taking FL test everyday and couple of verbal passages afterwards... Am i going to burnout?..Anyone has a better strategy..my main concern is that time is ticking

take all of them...the later ones are more similar to the real thing; make sure you go over ALL problems, not just the ones you got wrong.
