Ok guys, here is my dilemma/question:
For our 4 AADSAS letters, I will have 2 science professors, 1 dentist, and I figured 1 advisor. Should my advisor necessarily be my pre-dental advisor? I am in my university's student government, and we have an advisor for that. Quite honestly, I feel like this advisor knows me better and would be a better writer than my pre-dent advisor. She is obviously not in the science/health field and is not a "Dr." Just getting you opinions. Thanks for any help.

It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that you'd have some kind of advantage if your recommenders are 1) attended your dream school, 2) is a Dr., or 3) is dental related. the most important thing is that the letter is personal and sincere, so you should go with your club advisor who will obviously seen what you've done more than a generic pre-dental adviser.

P.S. One of my acquaintances actually had a Nobel Laureate that she met a few times write her a letter to grad school. No go.

Haha ok thanks, that is what I was thinking as well. I just know when application (separate from AADSAS) specifically says pre-dental advisor, so I may just get a letter from both and only use my pre-dental advisor letter specifically on that one.
