Hello everyone,

I'll be leaving today for Case interview tomorrow.
I'm going to rent a car at Akron airport and drive to school tomorrow morning.
I'm a little confused to where the dental school building is located.
According to this campus map, http://www.case.edu/maps/, the dental school building is the one near the intersection of Circle Dr and Cornell Rd but google map points at a different building when I enter the school's address. Also the address on this page gives you a different address for the school. https://wiki.case.edu/School_of_Dental_Medicine
2123 Abington Road not 10900 Euclid Ave.

I believe the building is the one on Circle Dr and Cornell Rd but I just want to make sure.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I can confirm it is the building on Circle Dr & Cornell Rd, labeled "Dental Medicine" on the first campus map link you posted.

I recall Google Maps might have been wrong, ambiguous, or confusing - not sure - but you're good to go with that campus map.

When I interviewed a couple weeks ago there was construction on Cornell Rd, so you might want to allow a few extra minutes in case that's still going on.

Also, if you enter the building where I entered (Patient Reception -- there's a big stone sculpture of a molar!) I seem to remember you will need to take the elevator UP one floor to the "first" floor (I had it in my head that should have been the "second" floor, but that was probably just me. 😉)

Good luck, and have fun.

(I am waiting to hear back from them... very soon, they say...:xf: )

Thanks and good luck to you too.
How do you access the underground parking lot of the dental school?

The underground parking is a little south of the dental school on Circle Drive. It is hidden in between a couple buildings, but there should be an A-frame style sign on the side walk (or in that area) that tells you to turn right into the underground parking. It will cost you so be prepared. I believe it was $10 for me. I also interviewed a few weeks ago and am waiting to hear back from them.

This reminds me of intently following google maps to the wrong building.... then sprinting through freezing rain to get to the right building, only to find out that I was on the opposite side of the building. At least I got to make a grand entrance as I burst into the room at the exact minute we were supposed to start. 🙂

FWIW, I emailed Dalsky early this week and he said the ad com is "currently ranking" applicants who interviewed since mid-January. He expected letters would be mailed out THIS THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

Good luck, everybody! :xf:

(BTW, those with upcoming interviews still have a great shot, since Case Western stretches out its acceptances through the Spring, and a fair amount of people decline Case to go to their in-state school.)
