Which computer to use in Med school?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Most laptop/desktop software only works with a Windows OS. For that reason I've BootCamped Win7 on my MBP.

But for reading texts and looking at images, people say an iPad works just fine as a tablet.

Which computer and/ or tablet do most people use for Med school? Thanks!

Honestly, they run the gamut. Mac or PC is just fine. I would ask your school and other students who attend your school as they would be the ones most likely to know if there's any software that won't run on any given computer.

Make sure your school doesn't require a specific laptop before buying one.

Dell XPS 13 or HP Spectre x360 should be great for most needs. If you need pen capability, then Surface Book or Surface Pro 4.

It doesn't really matter to be honest as long as they meet your schools minimum computing requirements. Most of my classmates have macs. A sizeable minority also have tablets like the surface pro.
