I am not a traditional student so my stats are kinda skewed. I was a hygienist for 10 years before applying. So EC's were mainly stuff I did for my children...Girl Scout leader, Committee member for the local Irish Featival and Irish Dance Competition. Also was involved with my local Dental Hygiene componant, stuff like that. Like I said I have been a hygienist for 10 years, so never actually shadowed, but did work in perio and general so that was my dental experience. My AA on the DAT was a 20, with nothng below a 17 (think I got a 17 in Gen Chem...my sworn enemy...lol). My GPA includes time when I was 20 and going through a messy divorce where I thought I had withdrew from 2 classes and actually didn't, so had 2 F's that brought what I thought was a 3.5 GPA into a sGPA of 3.05 and a tGPA of 3.04. However, I had an upward trend with nothing less than a B in hygiene school all A's the last year and Dean's List) and all A's and B's with a C in Biochem (another sworn enemy...lol).
So that is how I look on paper. I will say I thought I rocked the interview. And I did get accepted December 1sr, so I guess thats that...
