Which days of the week are rad onc interviews typically offered?

Some of the 3rd years need to start scheduling Step 2 CS pretty soon. I've heard that many rad onc interview dates are on Fridays. Could anyone tell us what other days of the week these interview days typically fall on?

There's a lot of variability between programs, but Monday and Friday are the most popular days.

Jan 30 was my last interview day.

Some programs also like saturdays.

My last interview was January 27. I think Jefferson had one date in early February. UTSW had Saturday interviews.

Prelim/transitional interviews and occasionally radiation oncology interviews can start in mid-November...but December/January is the busiest.

Most interviews occurred on weekdays in December and January (from Dec. 1 to Jan 31.) except for the time between Christmas and New Year's. There were a small number of programs that had Saturday interviews.

At this point in time, schedule CS for whenever. It is VERY easy to re-schedule, and rescheduling is free of charge as long as you do it more that 2 weeks in advance. I re-scheduled CS about 5 times as I tried to get my optimal date and location. I would not recommend scheduling the exam during the months of December or January if you feel that you need the traditional studying environment (i.e. not in an airplane/airport).
