I was able to get a job as a dental lab tech a year prior to (possibly) matriculating into dental school. Which techniques found in a dental lab will I see as a dental student?

Let's say dentures - do dental students perform wax ups?

In short, I want to hone in on the skills that will be most important in dental school.
Also, if anyone has legitimate clinical requirements for D1/D2 for a particular dental school, that'd be great.

I'm a rising D1 currently working as a lab tech in the CAD/CAM department.

Firstly, I love it. We're definitely going to be doing waxups in school, and the general knowledge about occlusion and tooth anatomy I've learned while working here will be invaluable I'm sure. I've learned a good deal about implantology as well, which I take great interest in. I believe you also make dentures in dental school so I think we're both in a great place.
