I would have to say out of the schools i've visited Columbia ranks high up.

I dont think it matters which school does, since Dental School requires a lot of an individuals time, I don't see how chics can help anyone with their looks do well.

It would be nice to travel holiday breaks to - Miami, Vegas, L.A....

Last thing you need is stirring at a beautiful girl during lecture 😱

I thought we all had that in our undergraduate years.

In the desert of dentistry....chick is like a mirage. So, it is essential
to have good chicks around....and then u never know....you may

Some cute girls at Arizona (too many guys then). None at Case (also too many guys) but I see many cute ones in the cafeteria ... medical and nursing students. Not many at NYU, in fact , I didn't see any cute one at this school. Hooooraaaa to Texas schools. So many gorgeous chics at all 3 schools. I will give A+ to San antonio 'cause medical,nursing and physician assistant students are everywhere ---->too many cute girls 😍

Nova will be my next destination .... 😀 😀 😀

Im going to have to disagree with Larry, Case definetly has a fair amount of cute girls in the dental school (ive seen mostly 3rd and 4th years though), but they have a lot of guys in each class. And for DentalD, I thought that Tufts was pretty good also, and with such a large class there has to be some.

I agree...when I interviewed at Case, the girls in the cafeteria and around the dental school were gorgeous! I really hope Tufts has a lot of hot girls around - although I don't think my wife will be to happy 😛

AND, speaking of Tufts and wives...I was told at my interview that only about 10% of incoming students are married (which is actually pretty optimistic...I think?), however, 40% of graduates are married. So...maybe dental school is the place to be to meet the love of your life.

I have to say us, Nova all the way. I go to school seeing at least one extermely hot model gorgeous girl a day, EVERYDAY! Skirts, high-heel sandals and tight little dress shirts....I'm telling you all....visit my campus if you ever get a chance!!

i think i understand where wise is coming from.

with so many things to worry about, having gorgeous chicks in my class is not on my "worry" list.
for those that worry about having "chicks", i say you better get over this if you wanna have all your focus on your classes.

I would have to say that it is extremely important to have some hottie females around. They make for good stress relievers.

Basically, your face follows this pattern from the moment you are most stressed out until the point you see the hottie until the point you start talking to her until the point you get it on:

I agree. I would hate to spend 4 years in a sausage factory, or with chicks with bigger arms than me. Dont get me wrong, it wont stop me from going to a school, its more like icing on the cake.

There is nothing wrong with having beautiful/good looking classmates!!!! It makes those 4 strenuous years more enjoyable.
For the record boys: the most beautiful girls are at UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN ONTARIO...go there and you know what I mean. This University is famous for having beautiful girls......

Having gone there for a couple of years I'd have to say the uwo dental classes are decent but not spectacular. The main campus does appear to be "babe city" though.

UCSF of course has lots of cute chicks. Not only in my class but in all professional schools. They dress up any time the sun is coming out. In the winter, they look very nice and classy too.

Penn has some very cute girls, and in our class we have more girls then guys! I think it is 60 girls to 50 guys. Plus the 4 med schools, 2 dental schools (Penn and Temple), Vet, Pharmacy and a lot more puts out a lot of smart, good looking girls in this city.
One of the upper classmen told me on average 4 people end up getting married to each other in each class. We have 1 couple in class, and 1 that is dating someone in a class above so far.

Since when is the appreciation of female beauty a disgrace? What Future Dentists don't like girls? I'd love to have beautiful women in my class. They probably are smart already so what's wrong with them being gorgeous. In fact that's motivation to go to class every morning.

Hmm, partly true. But 99% of the guys in the class are married, whereas only a couple of the girls are married. Our class is nearly 50-50 male/female, which leaves a lot of unmarried females.

BTW, you guys would probably be better off checking out the students in other programs (such as med or hygiene). Sometimes that makes life a lot easier (ie, you don't have to sit in lecture all day with the other person).

Just Kidding I know you are happily married. You have a GREAT point. Date someone outside of your class. THat just seems like the logical thing to do. Unless you meet someone in your class and its love at first sight, it might be risky to pursue a relationship with someone you see everyday ALL DAY. What if you breakup? What if you get sick of seeing each other all the time? 😀

Go for the nurses, dental hygienists, pharmacy students, etc. Sure will make your life easier IMHO

can you explain why is it that the percentage of married students in midwest is MUCH MUCH higher than other parts of the country? At my Creighton interview it was 6 of us and i was the only single person (the rest from UT, WI, CA, and SD)

Having lived in the midwest for a while I can say that the midwest tends to be so boring that you pretty much have to get married in order to keep yourself occupied.

This is not to knock the midwest as a region, we have some pretty nice cities like Chicago, St. Louis, maybe even Detroit and Cleveland. Once you get outside those cities life becomes very bleak and there are stronger smaller communities where people just tend to marry their high school sweethearts.

I worked in Tulsa, OK for a short while and all my colleagues were either married or engaged (they were around 25-26) and the only reason they held out so long was because they were well educated/excellent performers in school and had a solid career lined up. The rest of them were married, divorced and looking for 2nd marriages at that age. It wasn't a place for singles at all.

I don't know if I answered your question, but this is just a guess at what goes on out here.

all the dental schools that have dental hygiene, nursing, physical therapy etc... programs have cute girls.... come on now, there aren't very many cute girls in dental school and if there are any than they are probably married or have boyfriends..... so it's best to look else where.... just my 2 pennies

Maybe i'm biased and didn't notice anyone else...

I noticed at all my interviews that the hottest female potential future classmates were all either engaged or married. A dismaying observation, yes, but perhaps that will help keep my mind where it should be during class. 😀
