I'm from the UK and i'm starting medical school in a few months at my school we have to take an intercalated degree in our 3rd year (before rotations). Ik I have a lot of time to think about it but I wanted to hear from others early on. I think I'll choose cardiovascular science, medical physics/biomedical engineering and clinical sciences. For now I want to be a paediatric cardiologist so even though the obvious choice is cardiovascular science I really like math and physics and have an affinity for both. With clinical science I can do half module credit classes in both and it mainly teaches about researching, medical statistics, and reading medical literature etc. I definitely want to teach and do research in my career so it seems like a good option as well.
