This is the one question that ive always wonder.......a lot of people told me that GPA is weighted heavier than the PCAT score, and some just told me the opposite, while others think that GPA and PCAT are not everything.......i know GPA plays a crucial role in the admission process but what if the GPA is not that good, say 2.4 to 2.7 while the PCAT is around the 90 with volunteer experience, some extracurricular activies, etc......does this person have a chance?

Uhmm, well alot of pharmacy school will not even consider the application or look at it if it's below 2.5 that's for sure. Now, 2.7 will really depend on the school, again if the school requires 2.5 and above, then there is a chance, but if 3.0 and above, then it will be the same situation with the 2.4 situation. I'd just look at the pharm. school requirments. A friend of mine got accepted to pharm school, on his sencond try with a 2.8! So there is always a chance!! But I really think anything below 2.6 is really low! especially with the high competition these days!! good Luck
