on file i currently have 3 letters assigned: surgery, anesthesia (director of cardiac anesthesia), and a letter from my research mentor. I have one slot left which can either be filled with an OK letter from an anesthesiology program director (not my home institution, b/c we dont have one) or i can use a strong letter from my Ob/Gyn rotation. thoughts?? please advise 🙂

I was told to have at least 2 anes letters.

I was told to have 2 anesthesia letters as well.

ok 2 anesthesia letters, but can 1 be from outside your institution? For example, a letter from your instiutions anes chair and then another from the chair of anesthesia research from another place that was not academically connected in any way?
